Who are WCF?

WCF was established in 1989 and we are affiliated to the Fellowship of Independent Evangelical Churches (FIEC).

We meet on Sunday mornings in Furze Down School and hold mid-week meetings in various locations.

Children have their own programme (Energy Zone) on Sunday mornings while services are being held. Revelation Group (teenagers) meet on Sunday evenings. Children can also take part in other social events including an annual camp weekend away.

We believe it is important to serve our community and are currently involved with the local Shaftesbury care home and MK Food Bank. We also offer help to needy families through the Children's Storehouse which is run in conjunction with external agencies.

Our involvement with other churches includes meeting for prayer (Winslow Prayers) and supporting the town Youth Group.

From time to time we run courses such as Alpha and Christianity Explored.

In addition to supporting the persecuted church, we are involved with a range of Christian mission activities both within the UK and abroad. These include various projects in Romania such as the Ruth School in Bucharest and the Maranata Orphanage in Arad; missionary work in Nigeria (presently John and Abi Hunt); and Uganda.
